Early Childhood
Welcome to TPIS
At Templer Park International School Rawang, the Early Years program is where children aged 3 to 5 experience a day filled with joyful learning and play. These early years provide a unique opportunity to nurture their natural curiosity and cultivate a lifelong passion for learning.
By adopting the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC), we align with TPIS’s commitment to inquiry-based learning, while also supporting our Vision and Mission to develop future leaders and inspire global citizens through 21st-century education. The IEYC encourages our young learners to explore, express, and experiment, while engaging with technology, educational toys, and other creative resources to deepen their understanding.
The IEYC integrates smoothly into the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) used in our Primary School, offering a seamless transition. This continuity is enhanced by its focus on learning goals, personal goals, and international goals, all within the framework of thematic units that guide children’s development as they grow.
“Our Early Years programme is where we lay the solid foundations for each individual child’s success. Our approach is simple-we know your child so that we can support their individual learning needs every step of the way”
Our Kindergarten Programme provides a balanced education focusing on physical, mental, moral, emotional and social development. TPIS recognizes that every child deserves the best possible start in life, and educational foundations begin well before Primary school. We focus on whole child development and foundational skills to enhance literacy, numeracy and self-confidence.
Teachers support children’s development by actively engaging in their play, as well as participating in both individual and group activities. By giving children the freedom to make choices, collaborate, and solve problems, we encourage the development of initiative, confidence, creativity, and negotiation skills—essential abilities for future success.
