At Templer Park International School Rawang (TPIS), World Book Day wasn’t just a day — it was a celebration of imagination, adventure, and the power of reading! On a sunny morning, our school playground transformed into an open-air storyland where primary students gathered for a very special kind of storytime.
🎒✨ Dressed in comfy clothes and holding their favorite storybooks, our students arrived full of excitement, ready to be swept away by tales of dragons, space explorers, clever animals, and courageous kids.
The playground came alive as teachers and parents took turns reading aloud to groups of wide-eyed listeners. Students sat on picnic mats, bean bags, and under shady trees, turning our school grounds into a joyful reading park.
📖 Highlights of the Day:
- Read Alouds in the Playground: Everyone gathered to enjoy stories from around the world, told with fun voices, sound effects, and lots of imagination!
- Read and Share: Students had the chance to read parts of their favorite books and tell their classmates what the stories were about. It was a great way to build confidence and encourage a love of storytelling!

The event wasn’t just fun — it reminded us how magical books can be. From flying carpets to faraway forests, World Book Day at TPIS inspired our young readers to keep exploring the world, one page at a time.
Here’s to many more days of reading, imagining, and celebrating the joy of books! 🌈🎉
