Graduation day of Tabika Kemas Kampung Melayu Batu 16 was celebrated on February 11th, 2023 at Templer Park International School, Rawang. Tabika Kemas is a government-funded preschool education program in Malaysia that focuses on early childhood development and education. With over 58 participants including 29 graduates and their families in attendance, this day is marked as an important milestone for the children’s life, who have worked hard to achieve their goals. From the innovative teaching methods, the supportive and dedicated teachers, to the parents, this day was a celebration of the commitment and dedication of everyone who was involved.

Tabika Kemas is designed to help children develop social skills. At this age, children are learning to interact with others and form relationships, and the kindergarten provides a safe and supportive environment where they can do so. This aligns with the teaching and development method of Templer Park International School and for the school to support each other in early childhood education. At the graduation ceremony, children are presented with certificates and awards for their achievements.

Through play and structured activities, children learn to share, take turns, and communicate with others. They also learn about empathy and understanding the feelings of others. Teachers at Tabika give guidance and facilitate social interactions, helping children to learn appropriate social behaviors. Early childhood education is an important foundation for a child’s social development, and setting the stage for healthy relationships with peers and adults in the future.
