TPIS Science Fair 2026: Where Curiosity Comes to Life!

Science came alive at Templer Park International School Rawang (TPIS) during our exciting TPIS Science Fair 2026! From colourful chemical reactions to flying paper rockets, our students had a fantastic day filled with curiosity, discovery, experimentation, and plenty of “Wow!” moments. 🌟

The Science Fair gave our students the opportunity to step beyond the classroom and learn science by doing science. They became young scientists for the day—making observations, asking questions, testing ideas, and discovering how scientific concepts work in the real world.

🌿 What’s Inside a Leaf?

One of the fascinating activities involved testing leaves for chlorophyll. Students investigated the green pigment that plays an important role in photosynthesis and discovered that there is much more happening inside a simple leaf than meets the eye!

With their observations and experiments, students were able to connect what they learn in Biology lessons to something they can find all around them—the trees and plants on our beautiful school grounds. 🌱🔍

🧪 Acid + Base = Science in Action!

Things got even more exciting when students explored acid-base reactions. Watching substances react and change helped students understand that chemistry isn’t just about memorising formulas—it is about observing what happens when different substances interact.

The activity encouraged students to make predictions, observe changes, and think like real scientists. And, of course, seeing a reaction happen right in front of them made the learning even more memorable! 🧪✨

💧 Will It Sink or Float?

Students also became investigators of density and buoyancy as they explored why some objects float while others sink.

Through hands-on testing, students discovered that whether an object floats or sinks depends on its density compared with the liquid around it. It was a fun way to turn an everyday question—“Why does it float?”—into a scientific investigation! 🌊🔬

🚀 3… 2… 1… Blast Off!

And then came one of the most exciting moments of the Science Fair—paper rockets! 🚀

Students designed and launched their own rockets, putting their creativity and scientific thinking to the test. They experimented with designs, watched their rockets take flight, and discovered how forces and motion can turn a simple piece of paper into a flying machine.

There were launches, surprises, adjustments, and plenty of cheering as students watched their creations soar! 🚀💨

💡 Learning Beyond the Textbook

The TPIS Science Fair was more than just a collection of experiments. It was an opportunity for students to develop important skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, observation, creativity, and communication.

Most importantly, students experienced the joy of discovering answers for themselves.

At TPIS, we believe that science is best experienced when students can see it, test it, question it, and experience it. The Science Fair showed us once again that learning becomes even more meaningful when curiosity takes the lead.

A huge well done to all our students and teachers for making TPIS Science Fair 2026 such a fun, exciting, and memorable day of discovery! 🌿🧪💧🚀

Who knows? Today’s young experimenters could be tomorrow’s scientists, engineers, innovators, and inventors! 🔬✨
