Early this month, Templer Park International School Rawang (TPIS) added a healthy twist to its Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) by collaborating with Selgate Hospital Rawang to host a basic health check-up session for both parents and students.
During the session, friendly medical professionals from Selgate Hospital Rawang provided basic health screenings, including blood pressure checks, BMI measurements, and general health consultations. Parents appreciated the convenience of attending PTM while also taking a moment to check in on their own well-being, while students showed great curiosity and enthusiasm as they learned more about healthy habits in a relaxed, supportive environment.
More than just a check-up, the initiative highlighted TPIS’s commitment to holistic education — nurturing not only academic growth but also physical and emotional well-being. We extend our sincere appreciation to Selgate Hospital Rawang for their professionalism and care, and to our parents for their active participation. It was truly encouraging to see the TPIS community come together to prioritise health, reminding us that healthy families help build confident, thriving learners 🌿
