Back in January and February, Templer Park International School Rawang (TPIS) welcomed the energy and excitement of several Korean families who visited our campus — some were enjoying the sunshine on extended holidays, while others were here for summer camps. What they all had in common was curiosity: What is life like at an international school in Malaysia?

Their journey brought them to TPIS, and we were thrilled to show them what we’re all about.

During their visit, families got to experience the TPIS way — from walking through our vibrant classrooms and modern facilities to soaking in the diverse and welcoming atmosphere that defines our school. They saw firsthand how we balance academic excellence with creativity, innovation, and character-building.

But the magic didn’t stop there. These visits also became beautiful moments of cultural exchange. Conversations sparked between students and staff — leading to shared laughter, mutual respect, and even a few new Korean phrases picked up along the way! Our guests gained insight into Malaysian education, and we gained a deeper appreciation for Korean culture.

It was more than just a school tour — it was a week of connection, curiosity, and global friendship. At TPIS, we believe these experiences are what truly prepare students to thrive in a multicultural world.

We’re also proud to share that TPIS is open to welcoming cultural exchange programmes from any country — because we believe every culture adds something valuable to our growing global community.

As part of their visit, students participated in an exciting field trip to the Museum and Art Gallery Bank Negara Malaysia, where they explored the rich cultural and artistic history of Malaysia. The visit provided an opportunity to appreciate the beauty of local artwork and gain a deeper understanding of the nation’s heritage.

The adventure continued at the National Planetarium, where students marveled at the wonders of space and science through interactive exhibits and shows. The visit sparked curiosity about astronomy and space exploration, providing an enriching and fun learning experience.

This trip was more than just a field excursion — it was an unforgettable experience that connected everyone to Malaysia’s culture, history, and scientific wonders, while enhancing their global perspective.

At TPIS, we believe in the power of learning beyond the classroom, and these activities helped our international visitors connect with the heart of Malaysia while making lasting memories during their time here.

We’re so glad to have been part of these students’ international journey — and who knows? We might be welcoming some familiar faces back very soon!
