The Prefect System provides students with an opportunity to showcase their maturity and sense of responsibility. Templer Park International School Rawang Prefects serve as role models for the entire student body, upholding the school’s ethos to the highest standard. Leadership and the ability to inspire others are key expectations for all Prefects. They are ambassadors for the school at all times and prioritize the safety and well-being of all students within the community.

Prefect candidates are carefully selected by both faculty and their peers. They must demonstrate responsibility, diligence, and a strong work ethic, always ready to represent the school. These positions require forward-thinking, confident individuals who will bring fresh ideas and foster a positive school culture. Prefects act as a bridge between teachers and students.

The goal of Prefects is to embody the school’s values and integrate its strategic objectives into students’ daily lives through effective communication and event coordination. This includes organizing inter-house and sports events, coordinating school assemblies, and promoting the well-being of their peers.

The leadership system now also focuses on nurturing future leaders by offering opportunities for students from younger year groups (Years 8-11) to take on roles of responsibility.
