World Book Day is always a special moment at Templer Park International School Rawang (TPIS)—and this year, it truly felt like stepping into the pages of a storybook. From the moment students arrived, the campus was bursting with colour, creativity, and excitement. Pupils came dressed as their favourite book characters, transforming the school into a lively parade of heroes, villains, and beloved storybook icons. It was a joyful reminder of how stories can inspire imagination and bring people together.

The celebration kicked off with a fun and engaging “Guess the Character” activity, where laughter and curiosity filled the air as students tried to identify each other’s creative costumes. Throughout the day, pupils across all levels took part in activities designed to spark their love for reading and storytelling. Our KG and Lower Primary pupils became young designers, reimagining their favourite storybooks with brand-new titles and illustrations. Upper Primary pupils confidently took the stage for Book Talks, sharing their favourite reads and convincing others why those books are worth picking up. Meanwhile, our Secondary pupils stepped into the role of authors, crafting their own stories complete with original covers, opening pages, and compelling synopses.

A big round of applause goes to our Best Dressed winners—Jayden, Masato, and Yoshitaro—who impressed everyone with their creativity and thoughtful use of recycled materials. We also celebrate our activity winners: Kokono (Lower Primary), Nanaha (Upper Primary), and Kingsley, Kayden, Wong Yi Hao, and Jun Qi (Secondary), for their outstanding efforts and imagination.

All in all, it was a vibrant and meaningful celebration at TPIS that reminded us of the magic of books. Through creativity, storytelling, and a shared love of reading, our students truly brought stories to life in the most unforgettable way. 🌟📖
