It was a joyful and memorable day at Templer Park International School (TPIS) as we warmly welcomed students from SD Bakti Mulya School for a special cultural experience visit filled with laughter, learning, and friendship.

The visit was designed to encourage students from different backgrounds to connect through interactive and engaging team-building activities. From the moment the students arrived, the atmosphere was filled with excitement and positive energy as everyone prepared for a day of fun challenges and collaboration.

One of the highlights of the day was the thrilling Treasure Hunt Challenge 🗺️🔍. Students worked together in mixed groups, solving clues, exploring different stations, and racing against time to complete their missions. The activity encouraged communication, critical thinking, leadership, and teamwork while allowing students to bond with one another in a fun and energetic environment.

Another exciting activity was the “Build the Tallest Tower” challenge 📄🏗️, where students were given only paper and limited materials to create the tallest standing structure possible. Through this hands-on STEAM activity (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), students explored problem-solving, engineering concepts, creativity, and teamwork in a fun and interactive way. The challenge sparked incredible innovation as students brainstormed ideas, experimented with designs, tested structures, and supported one another throughout the process. It was inspiring to see how collaboration, critical thinking, and determination transformed simple sheets of paper into impressive towers!

Beyond the games and activities, the visit also created meaningful opportunities for cultural exchange and friendship. Students shared experiences, learned about one another’s backgrounds, and discovered how collaboration can bring people together regardless of language or nationality.

At TPIS, we believe that learning extends far beyond the classroom. Experiences like these help students build confidence, develop essential life skills, and create lasting memories through hands-on learning and international collaboration.
