At Templer Park International School Rawang (TPIS), learning isn’t confined to textbooks and classrooms — it’s an adventure filled with discovery, creativity, and joy! This week, our energetic Kindergarten (KG) students dove into a hands-on Counting Fish activity that perfectly blended fun with foundational math skills.
Armed with mini fishing nets and an exciting assortment of colorful sea creatures, our little learners practiced their counting, sorting, and number recognition — all while engaging their fine motor skills and teamwork. With every scoop, they eagerly identified the bright fish, cheerful crabs, and playful sea animals floating in the water. The giggles and cheers that echoed across the playground were a testament to the power of learning through play.
Activities like this are part of TPIS’s commitment to nurturing a love of learning from an early age. By incorporating interactive and sensory experiences, children not only grasp essential concepts but also develop confidence, curiosity, and critical thinking skills that will serve them throughout their educational journey.
At TPIS, we believe every splash, every laugh, and every curious question opens the door to lifelong learning. And for our KG students, this Counting Fish adventure was just one more step in their exciting journey!
