TPIS facilitates the visa application process for international students and their parents, providing essential support for families residing in Malaysia.


Guidelines for Student Pass Application
All International Student Visa and/or Guardian Pass applications can only be processed if they are accompanied by:
- All required documents listed in the International Student Application Checklist, along with any additional documents requested by the Admissions Office of TPIS
- The International Student Visa and/or Guardian Pass application service fee/s which is/are non-refundable.
- If the applicant is currently enrolled in another international school in Malaysia, a copy of the passport page showing the existing student visa/pass must be submitted. The current student visa/pass must be cancelled by the previous school before a new application can be made. Please note that student visas/passes issued by other international schools in Malaysia are not transferable. Failure to comply with this requirement may affect the student’s legal stay in Malaysia.
- It is the responsibility of parents to ensure that the student’s passport remains valid throughout their stay and for travel purposes. Parents are also responsible for maintaining a valid visa for the student at all times.
Student Visa
Students who do not have a Dependent Pass/MM2H/Resident Pass, but hold a Social Visit Pass, are required to apply for a Student Visa.
The student visa process involves two main stages: first, approval from the Ministry of Education (MOE) Malaysia, followed by the Immigration Department process.
