Students at Templer Park International School Rawang (TPIS) recently had an exciting opportunity to explore their future academic pathways during an inspiring talk conducted by representatives from Sunway University.

The session, specially organised for our Grade 10 and Grade 11 students, focused on helping learners understand the many possibilities available after completing their IGCSE examinations. From foundation programmes and diploma routes to degree pathways, students gained valuable insights into how today’s choices can shape tomorrow’s success.

The speakers from Sunway University shared practical advice on subject selection, university preparation, and career planning — making higher education feel more achievable and less intimidating. Through interactive discussions and real-life examples, students were encouraged to think about their passions, strengths, and long-term goals.

One of the highlights of the session was learning about emerging career fields and the skills universities look for beyond academic results, such as creativity, communication, and critical thinking. Students actively participated, asking thoughtful questions about campus life, scholarships, and future career opportunities.
