Weaving Creativity, One Strip at a Time!

Our Grade 3 students recently enjoyed a hands-on Arts lesson where they learned the technique of paper weaving. Using colourful strips of paper, students carefully followed patterns and designs to create impressive woven artworks.

The activity provided an excellent opportunity for students to develop creativity while strengthening important skills such as concentration, patience, and fine motor coordination. As they worked through the weaving process, students learned to pay attention to detail, solve problems, and express themselves artistically.

Each completed piece showcased the individuality and imagination of its creator, resulting in a vibrant display of geometric patterns and colourful designs. The students were excited to see their hard work come together and proudly shared their finished creations with classmates and teachers.

At Templer Park International School Rawang (TPIS), we believe that Arts education plays an important role in nurturing creativity, confidence, and critical thinking. Activities such as paper weaving encourage students to explore new ideas, develop perseverance, and experience the joy of learning through hands-on creativity.

We are proud of our Grade 3 students for their enthusiasm and dedication, and we look forward to seeing more of their artistic talents throughout the school year.
