STEAM Day Sparks Curiosity and Creativity at TPIS!
Last week, Templer Park International School (TPIS), Rawang came alive with excitement, discovery, and innovation as students participated in our highly anticipated STEAM Day celebration. The event was designed to inspire young minds through hands-on learning experiences that combined Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) in a fun and engaging way.
Students embarked on an exciting journey through a series of interactive checkpoints, each offering unique challenges and experiments. From generating electricity with a Potato Battery to exploring the fascinating properties of Oobleck, learners experienced science in action and discovered how concepts taught in the classroom can be applied in real life.
One of the highlights of the day was the spectacular Elephant Toothpaste experiment, which amazed students with its colourful foamy eruption. At the Invisible Ink station, students became secret message experts, while the Magnetic Fishing challenge tested their problem-solving skills and understanding of magnetism.

Creativity and engineering took centre stage during the Paper Helicopter Challenge, where students experimented with different designs to see whose helicopter could stay airborne the longest. The excitement reached new heights with the grand finale—the Bottle Rocket Parachute Launch—where students witnessed the power of science and engineering as their creations soared into the sky before gently descending with parachutes.
At TPIS, we believe that meaningful learning happens when students are actively involved in the process. STEAM Day provided countless opportunities for students to ask questions, test ideas, collaborate with peers, and learn through exploration. These hands-on activities not only strengthened academic understanding but also fostered critical thinking, creativity, communication, and teamwork.
The event reflected TPIS’s commitment to providing a nurturing and supportive learning environment where every student is encouraged to explore their potential, embrace challenges, and develop a lifelong love for learning.
A huge thank you to our dedicated teachers and staff for making this memorable day possible, and congratulations to all our students for their enthusiasm, curiosity, and outstanding participation.
At TPIS, learning goes beyond the classroom—turning curiosity into discovery and ideas into innovation. 🚀🔬✨
