Templer Park International School Rawang (TPIS) recently had the pleasure of welcoming a group of South Korean students for a short-term study programme that was rich in learning, cultural exchange, and unforgettable memories.

During their time at TPIS, the visiting students were fully immersed in our vibrant school environment. They joined regular classes alongside TPIS students, experiencing an international curriculum that encourages inquiry, collaboration, and creative thinking. From engaging classroom discussions to hands-on learning activities, the programme allowed students to gain a true taste of international education in Malaysia.

Beyond academics, the short-term study experience offered meaningful opportunities for cultural exchange. Our South Korean students built friendships with peers from diverse backgrounds, practised English in authentic settings, and shared aspects of their own culture with the school community. These interactions fostered mutual respect, global awareness, and confidence—values that TPIS holds close to its heart.

Teachers and students alike appreciated the energy and curiosity the visiting students brought into classrooms. Their presence enriched lessons, encouraged cross-cultural conversations, and reminded everyone that learning goes far beyond textbooks—it happens through connection, collaboration, and shared experiences.

The programme also allowed the South Korean students to experience school life in Malaysia, from daily routines to co-curricular activities, giving them a broader perspective on global education and personal growth.

At TPIS, we believe that short-term study programmes are powerful bridges that connect cultures and broaden young minds. We are proud to have been part of this meaningful journey and look forward to welcoming more international students in the future as we continue to grow as a truly global learning community.
