At Templer Park International School Rawang (TPIS) we didn’t just celebrate Malaysia Day — we turned it into a full-on festival of fun, flavour, and fantastic vibes! With flags waving, music blasting, and students decked out in dazzling traditional outfits, the whole school came alive with patriotic energy and cultural pride.

More than just a public holiday, the National and Malaysia Day Celebration at TPIS was a chance for our diverse school community to come together and celebrate what makes Malaysia truly special: its people, cultures, and spirit of unity.
The event wasn’t just about waving flags or singing the anthem (though we did that with full heart and harmony). It was also about learning, connecting, and having a ton of fun.
🔍 Let the Treasure Hunt Begin!
We kicked things off with the Merdeka Treasure Hunt — a school-wide scramble for clues, facts, and maybe even a few hidden snacks (no judgment). Teams dashed through the school like patriotic pirates, solving riddles and collecting knowledge one checkpoint at a time.

🧠 Kahoot Quiz Madness!
Next up: the Kahoot Quiz — a rapid-fire, brain-bending battle of Malaysian trivia. Students huddled in teams, fingers flying across screens, eyes locked on the leaderboard. And yes, it was INTENSE.

TPIS turned into a mini Malaysia Fashion Week with students rocking everything from baju kurung to cheongsams to sarees — proudly representing their heritage in true TPIS style.

🍛 Taste of Tradition
And what’s a Malaysian celebration without FOOD? Students and staff got to enjoy a delicious spread of traditional treats — lemang, nasi lemak, kuih-muih — enough to make your grandma proud and your stomach very, very happy.

Beyond all the excitement, TPIS’s Malaysia Day celebration was a reminder of why we’re stronger together. With students from different backgrounds learning, laughing, and leading side-by-side, this event truly reflected the heart of Malaysia — diverse, united, and full of joy.
From team spirit to traditional snacks, cultural pride to quiz-night bragging rights — this celebration was one for the history books (and definitely for the yearbook!).
