August 2025 – Templer Park International School Rawang (TPIS)
The first day of school at TPIS wasn’t your typical “sit-and-listen” experience. Instead, it was a high-energy, fun-filled day packed with excitement, activities, and friendly faces! Our Orientation Day welcomed students from Grade 1 to Grade 11, and helped everyone ease into the new academic year with confidence, connection, and curiosity.
🛎️ The Grand Kick-Off: Assembly & School Tour Challenge
The morning began with a lively Welcome Assembly, where new and returning students were greeted warmly by their teachers and school leaders. Energy levels soared as students teamed up for the School Tour Challenge—a campus-wide quest to discover key locations, secret nooks, and fun facts about TPIS. It was the perfect mix of adventure and orientation!
🎈 Split and Shine: Primary vs Secondary Adventures
After the morning break, students were divided into Primary and Secondary groups for activity-packed sessions designed to break the ice, boost confidence, and build friendships.

- Ice-Breaker Bingo & Presentations: Laughter filled the air as students rushed to find classmates who met fun prompts like “Has a pet cat” or “Loves spicy food.”
- Act It Out!: With boundless energy and imagination, students acted out scenes and scenarios that brought giggles and applause from their peers.
🧑🎓 Secondary Students Got Competitive with:
- Find the Match: From favorite colors to hidden talents, students discovered what they had in common through this fast-paced bonding game.
- Charades: Who knew guessing movie titles and random phrases could be so hilarious? Students had a blast decoding their classmates’ mime-worthy moves.
🍱 Lunchtime Recharge
All that fun worked up an appetite! During lunch, students enjoyed a well-deserved break, shared meals with new friends, and swapped stories from their morning escapades.
