Our student, Derek Wong, recently showcased incredible determination, skill, and sportsmanship at the IJM Junior Selangor Closed, competing in the Boys’ Under 13 category. Taking on strong competitors from across Selangor, Derek delivered an impressive performance in both Singles and Doubles, ultimately securing Second Runner-Up in both events.

From powerful smashes to smart rallies on the court, Derek demonstrated not only his growing technical ability but also the confidence and resilience of a true athlete. Competing in two categories is no easy feat, and his achievement reflects countless hours of training, discipline, and an unwavering passion for badminton. 🏸✨
